“The British Colonial in Nassau strikes a compelling balance, merging historic charm with a prime beachfront location. Recent renovations refreshed this 1924 landmark, positioning it as an appealing choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and proximity to downtown attractions. In my opinion, it's a solid option for those who appreciate a blend of Bahamian heritage and modern amenities.”

Reviews and Ratings

Feedback about British Colonial Nassau from previous guests about their experience.
Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The British Colonial Nassau, recently refurbished in 2023, is often described as beautiful and spectacular, with an opulent and radiant lobby. Guests frequently appreciate its central location in downtown Nassau, close to the port, shops, and places for excursions, and some find it convenient to have a Dunkin' Donuts right outside. The rooms are generally spacious, and some offer ocean views where cruise ships can be seen; however, a few guests have mentioned issues such as street view instead of sea view. The hotel also boasts a nice gym, pool and a private beach.
