Staying at the Allerton was a delightful experience, thanks to its fantastic location right on Michigan Avenue. The staff was incredibly attentive and made our anniversary special with thoughtful gestures. The room had a charming, vintage feel, but it did show some signs of age. Overall, it offered great value for being in the heart of downtown Chicago, although the elevators could get a bit slow during busy times.
