Boutique hotel in Valencia's historic Carmen district - 170-year-old building with plant-themed decor
Location
You & Co. J. Botanico Boutique occupies a 170-year-old building in Valencia's Carmen district, next to the Botanical Gardens. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the IVAM Modern Art Museum and within 15 minutes of the Central Market and the cathedral. Metro stations for line 3 and line 5, which connect to Valencia Airport, are a 5-minute walk away.
Rooms
Spacious rooms feature individual whirlpool baths and refrigerators. Family rooms offer a king bed plus a single bed and a cot, without feeling crowded. Some rooms include a French balcony or a Juliet balcony with access to a church square.
Dining
The on-site a la carte restaurant serves a daily continental and hot buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, bread, and made-to-order eggs. Guests can also purchase wine and champagne from the hotel's vending machine. Breakfast is available each morning from 7:30 to 10:30.
Services
Bike rentals are available at the hotel for exploring Valencia at a guest's own pace. The hotel offers a complimentary 2-hour walking tour of the old town led by Pablo, a local born and bred Valencian. An airport shuttle and express check-in/check-out are available upon request.
Points of Interest
The hotel is adjacent to the Botanical Gardens of Valencia, a 4-acre garden with tropical and Mediterranean plants. The IVAM Modern Art Museum houses works by Julio González and other 20th-century artists. The historic Barrio del Carmen offers narrow streets, street art, and tapas bars within a 10-minute walk.
