The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The older architecture of the hotel was charming. I loved the location since it was close to the convention center (very handy for my meetings). There were many restaurants within walking distance that served great texas food.
I noticed the hotel feels a bit neglected with the furniture looking a little tired, showing its age.

the location was great I could walk to many places. the bed was comfy it had the basic necessities I needed
the air conditioner took a while to cool down it was around 75° outside. there was a designated smoking area but no bench and no ashtray

the hotel included a fitness center with treadmills and stationary bikes as well as free weights. a business center provided computer access and printing services needing to work. complimentary coffee and tea were available in the lobby during the morning hours.

The valet service was speedy and convenient. The staff greeted me with smiles and were attentive to my needs. My room was surprisingly large. I had plenty of space to relax and unwind. The bedding was like a cloud. I slept soundly each night.
The fitness center equipment showed some wear.

i liked the architecture it looked nice. the staff helped get me a high floor room. the location was very central i could walk anywhere. the room was spacious and had comfortable bedding perfect after a long day.
the hotel is slightly older and could use some updates but it did not impact my stay.
