KANEYOSHI RYOKAN, Osaka

The ryokan has a 24-hour front desk with full-day security, currency exchange, and luggage storage. Guests can use the lift to access all floors, including the top-floor public bath. A designated smoking area is available on certain floors, and the elevator is equipped with CCTV for security.

Each Japanese-style room has tatami flooring, a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a bath. The rooms include air conditioning and heating, and some offer a balcony overlooking the Dotonbori River. Units are non-smoking, though smoking is permitted in designated corridor areas.

Kaneyoshi Ryokan sits 90 metres from Nipponbashi Monument and 90 metres from Zojugoi Yasuidoton Dobokukiko Monument. A traditional Japanese breakfast is served in the dining room, featuring small dishes with rice, fish, and tea. The breakfast is offered at set times (07:00, 07:30, or 08:00) and requires advance booking. Free water, tea, and coffee are available in the lobby throughout the day.

The top-floor public bath (onsen) is divided into male and female sections and is open until midnight. The bath is a small indoor hot bath, clean and often uncrowded in the late afternoon. Guests with tattoos are generally permitted to use the onsen, as noted in guest feedback.
