underwhelming experience
poor insulation dated room
the breakfast had a wide choice i cant complain about.
the room i stayed in felt really dated, it looked like it hadnt been touched since the 80s, aircon was barely working. the noise insulation was bad. i heard everything from other rooms, it was difficult to get any sleep.

excellent service front desk extra water quick check-in
the hotel staff displayed excellent service. jessica at the front desk reassigned rooms to accommodate requests. yuan zhen, the room attendant, provided extra water and razors, recognizing my needs. the quick check-in process was convenient (i really appreciated this).
The gym lacked some equipment i was hoping for. It only had basic machines.

I found the room has a mini fridge. Bottled water was provided daily. The air conditioning worked effectively. The shower had good water pressure, it was a big plus. The hotel location is near public transport options. Several restaurants are close to the hotel. I saw many dining choices within walking distance. Breakfast included both european and asian options. The gym features several cardio machines. I saw free weights in the gym. The pool area has lounge chairs. Staff was attentive to my requests. I used the laundry service, it was efficient. The front desk stored my luggage after checkout. Check-in was quick. The lobby offers seating areas.
The elevators were occasionally slow.

I loved the complimentary drinks in the minibar, replenished daily. The fruit bowls on each floor were very appealing. The hotel has a laundry area near the pool (I found this very convenient).

helpful staff breakfast buffet noise insulation dingy room
i found the breakfast buffet adequate. the staff were generally helpful (i interacted with them at the reception and during breakfast).
the room felt dingy to me. the curtains looked like they needed a wash. noise constantly traveled into the room, a bit disturbing.

convenient location helpful staff comfortable bed shower facilities
The location is very convenient near the river. Staff were efficient and helpful . My room had great amenities and a comfortable bed. The pool on the fifth floor was lovely, and I especially enjoyed the changing and shower facilities provided. The hotel stored my baggage after checkout, which I appreciated.
My bathroom was modern, but the bath was slightly small.

annoying birds chaotic environment
the location was decent, accessible to public transport.
the breakfast was a letdown. it became super busy between 9am and 10am, and birds were annoying on the porch. it was difficult to enjoy my breakfast in such chaotic environment.
