james at reception was helpful. he provided detailed information about the local attractions. the automatic curtain opening upon entering the room was a nice, modern touch. the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes.
the gym became crowded with sports teams . this made it difficult to access equipment at peak times. the bedside console had only usb outlets. i needed more functioning outlets for charging my devices near the bed. noise from nearby entertainment was noticeable on the 16th floor at night. i could hear bands playing.

The location is very central to everything. I appreciated early check-in at 10am because a room was available. The staff at the entrance were cute when arranging a taxi. The room included a yoga mat to use and a couch for lounging.
The aircon was noisy in the room, i called the front desk however no one answered.

The breakfast included a very good selection. The restaurant staff prepared boxes with breakfast for my early flight. There are four restaurants guests can choose from for dining options and varied menus.

The gym has lots of space and plenty of equipment for use. Free use of the spa is a benefit. The hotel provides direct access into a shopping center with many shops and cafes. Guests can easily walk to nearby attractions.

The room was spacious and clean on the 18th floor. My room included bathrobes and slippers. A deep soaking tub was available in my room. The room was very comfortable with a perfectly firm bed.

my room had automated blinds. the blinds opened when i entered the room, a nice welcome. the hotel is located above a mall. it also has an mrt station, so transport was very accessible.
this happened , quite unnerving.

the staff was helpful and friendly. they upgraded us to a higher room since we had a special occasion! i did notice great views of marina bay. there was only a slight grumble, it involved the air conditioning. it did not seem to go very high or below 21 degrees.

the gold service team. june was cute and good to see and maya was kind and helpful. james showed a cheerful personality and irresistible sense of humor, zack and ansel remembered our names and drink preferences and ensured we were looked after. the team was marvelous with our teenagers.
the hotel put a small cake in our room to celebrate a birthday, while we were at the pool. the mudcake tasted worse than one from a supermarket. they also didn't leave a note, a generic birthday note would have been nice.

the location felt very ideal, just across from raffles. exploring the city was very easy. the fairmont gold room had great views of marina bay and the room was spacious. the food in the gold lounge was amazing. the team members were all warm and professional.
the minibar was automatic and full of hotels drinks. i couldnt keep any of my own things. the cold setting on the water dispenser was room temperature. early check in was not available when i arrived. i had to wait until 3pm.
