Located in the Uptown District, this 3-star Palm Springs hotel features ground-floor and upper-level accommodations with king beds throughout. Descanso Resort offers four room types, including balcony suites with mountain views and spacious bathrooms featuring free-standing tubs. The property maintains an outdoor pool with surrounding deck space and garden furniture. Some upper-level rooms at Descanso Resort, A Men's Resort provide spectacular views and separate living areas with daybeds that accommodate a third guest. The hotel sits within 0.5 miles of Woodman/Shimko Gallery and Desert Healthcare Park. Nearby dining options include Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey, Wexler's, and Side Bar at the Riviera Hotel, all located within a 0.5-kilometer radius.
Pros
Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops in the Uptown District
Mountain views from upper-level rooms and balconies
Outdoor shower facilities available
Ground-floor rooms provide direct access to pool area
Cons
1 mile from Palm Springs Walk of Stars
Limited on-site dining options
āDescanso Resort distinguishes itself with renovated rooms and attentive service; the staff anticipates needs around the relaxing pool and lounge areas. The option of included breakfast and lunch creates a self-contained retreat, though downtown Palm Springs is also within walking distance. From what I gathered, Descanso aims for seamless comfort and convenience.ā
