non-working cards small room
the bed was comfortable. the blackout curtains were a lovely touch.
i came in very late because of delayed flights. i could not check in to the room, and the concierge helped, but he was unable to get the cards to work after multiple attempts. i made four trips up and down to the room, then a master key got used. the room is a lot smaller than i expected.

the location was convenient for exploring. pier 55 was just across the street. i walked everywhere (it was great!).

non-working blinds poor management
i paid for a room with a view. i got a 10th floor room. the morning after my arrival i tried to open the blackout blinds and they didn't go up at all. i reported it to the staff in the morning, they said they'd take a look. when i arrived back in the afternoon, the blinds were still not working. i asked the staff again and they said that no one had taken care of it yet, but they'll send someone to check. i was never offered a room replacement! the team said that they will escalate to the manager, but no one ever reached out.

Compact Room with a View!
self-serve kiosk fast elevators excellent location quiet atmosphere
I appreciated the self-serve kiosk. Check-in was smooth. Elevators were fast, and security seemed good! The location was excellent for accessing the waterfront, as well as the Amtrak and light rail. I found the quiet atmosphere very restful after a long day.
The lack of on-site parking posed a slight challenge. Finding a spot nearby took a bit of time.

The rooms include a smart setup with lights and curtains. There is a digital interface for room controls with an iPad. The hotel offers fast elevators and a streamlined self-check-in process.

Staff members were consistently nice and helpful throughout my stay. I was impressed by the staff's friendly attitude. They were happy to help me with any questions I had.

High-Tech Room Features
ipad control bathroom light city view
The room allowed control of lights and curtains via an iPad. The bathroom light was a standout feature. I chose a room that provided a view and it was definitely worth it, I spent hours watching the city. The room was very clean.
I found that self-service check-in, handled through screens near the elevators, was impersonal, with only one staff member available to assist.

The room featured a high-tech control system. A king-sized bed ensured a restful sleep. Blackout blinds completely darkened the space, promoting better sleep, though the view made me want to keep them open.

An Acceptable Stay
self check-in blackout curtain missing coffee machine malfunctioning system
Self check in and out were quite convenient. The blackout curtain was very effective, a feature I found particularly useful.
There was no coffee machine in the room. I found this surprising for a hotel at this price point. The card reader system was not working upon arrival, I waited for some time to be let into the room.
