clean room spacious room disinterested staff late checkout
the location was great and the room was clean and spacious (i was actually surprised).
The front desk staff seemed a bit disinterested and not particularly cute, disappointing for such a highly-rated hotel. arranging a late checkout was also a hassle. I was told i could only do it the morning of my departure between 7 and 10am.

Excellent Location and Facilities
great location friendly staff room upgrade
The hotel is directly on the Gran Via. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded to a double room. There was a detox water available in the reception.
The hotel walls seemed thin. I heard my neighbor on the phone until 1 am. His alarm then rang from 7:30-9 am.

The room included a modern design. It had great amenities (i really liked them). The toilet looked very clean. The room was spacious, easily accommodating my luggage and providing ample space to move around.

unfriendly staff broken air conditioning
The location was central, made getting around easy.
I was disappointed by the lack of friendliness from some staff. They seemed uninterested. The air conditioning barely worked . It was quite uncomfortable. It's Madrid and hot, after all.
