underwhelming stay, issues need addressing
faulty mechanism ineffective air conditioning
The safe in my superior double or twin room didnt work properly. i tried to use it, but the locking mechanism seemed faulty. also, the air conditioning was not effective. The room remained stuffy, even when set to a low temperature. i got annoyed because those problems impacted my stay, and i expect more from a hotel in this price range. i reminded me of the hotel needs to invest in some much-needed maintenance.

perfect english birthday surprise romantic style
The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English. They left a lovely surprise in the room for my birthday. It was a sweet gesture! I loved the french romantic style of the room and hallways.
The room was not large. it was still comfortable and cozy.

The hotel upgraded us to a suite. It was very spacious. The location was great near the Metro. The hotel had a very nice style inside too.
The elevator was quite slow. It could take about five minutes to arrive. There is only one for the entire hotel.
