Philstay Myeongdong Boutique Female sits a one-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station (Line 4) and a 15-minute walk from Namdaemun Market. The Myeongdong shopping area is 130 metres away, and Noon Square is 400 metres away. The guesthouse is tucked on a quiet side street, allowing guests to return to a calm space after exploring the busiest retail district in Seoul.

Accommodation is in female-only dormitories with 4, 6, or 8 beds. Each bunk has a roller privacy blind, a large under-bed locker for luggage, and a light with charging ports. Bedding, a small towel, and indoor slippers are provided, and guests can exchange towels daily from a cart near the shower area.

Shared bathrooms on the second floor include four shower cubicles and four toilets with bidets; two of the cubicles are very compact. The shared kitchen offers a full-sized fridge, microwave, hot and cold water dispenser, and a sink with cutlery. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are available for 1,000 won per wash or per 15-minute dry cycle.

Staff members speak English and Chinese and can store luggage after checkout until 8pm. Daily housekeeping is provided, and during cleaning hours (12pm-4pm) room doors are left open for ventilation. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal, spreads, and coffee or tea is served each morning in the communal area.

The guesthouse is adults-only and female-only, with CCTV in common areas and outside the property. Entry after 10pm uses a code system for the building and dormitory doors, and key card access is also available. Security alarms, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers are installed throughout.
