the staff was lovely. the girls were so friendly and helpful. i had a great big room and bathroom. it FEELS like there is a lot of space.
the furniture IS shabby. the soundproofing was lousy. little windows let noise in. it's hard to relax.

The staff assisted with uber downloads and bookings to the bus station. This was helpful. using the backpackers next door allowed me access to a pool and garden. the location offered easy walking distance to avenida centrale.
the wifi signal was weak in the room, it was hard to connect sometimes.

The guesthouse is situated within a short walk to many tourist spots, including avenida principal. This makes seeing the city easy. its proximity to museums, the judicial area, and a park adds to its accessibility. the immediate neighborhood felt safe, too.

the room i had was quite spacious and featured a wooden floor which added a nice touch. it included a large bed which ensured a restful sleep . a balcony offered a pleasant space.

the front desk provided tourist information upon request, this helped in planning activities. i noticed a partnership with the backpackers guesthouse across the street, allowing guests to use their pool. staff assisted with arranging airport transfers.

the staff was friendly and helpful i guess. the beds felt comfy, so there's that.
The hostel stand close to a railway i discover. trains pass near, and they kept honking non-stop, what a nuisance. i awoke around 5:00 a.m. because trains beep without stopping. So much for sleeping.

the room was spacious. it included a massive king bed. the shower offered very hot water and powerful pressure. I appreciated the free coffee available in reception.

i arrived late but the staff was helpful. they stored my luggage in a secure area. there was coffee and tea available. the office and dorm had secure entries.
the cabinet had dust on it. it seemed like it was there for a long time. the mattresses looked worn and outdated. the room had no glasses.

the hostel had great proximity to many attractions. there were free drinks and clean amenities. the hostel's restaurant provided good, healthy food at affordable prices. the staff helped me navigate to irazu volcano using public transport. i found this quite budget friendly.
the main front door was not locked most of the time. guests are responsible to ensure it shut after using it. this system does not work effectively.
