The Hoxton, Southwark, is known for its trendy decor, offering a funky and buzzy atmosphere that many guests enjoy, with some describing it as having a Manhattan industrial New York style feel. Rooms are often considered compact and cosy, equipped with everything needed for a trip, including Roberts DAB radios playing Smooth Chill playlists which contribute to the overall vibe; however, some guests have found the 'Snug' rooms a little too small, particularly regarding suitcase space. An Acceptable Stay

spacious room great radio tube proximity uncomfortable mattress weak water short closet
I appreciated the room I stayed in. It was spacious and had a great radio. The hotel's proximity to the Tube was advantageous.
The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The water pressure was weak. The closet was too short for longer clothes, and there was no iron available.

unprofessional staff unresponsive staff
The hotel location was satisfactory, offering convenient access to nearby attractions.
There was a significant issue with the room service. An item of clothing disappeared from my room. I reported it promptly, but the staff did not take the matter seriously. This lack of responsiveness was very disheartening and unprofessional.

the hotel decor was trendy, and the atmosphere had a funky, buzzy vibe.
my room was not cleaned one day. when i asked staff to empty the bins, i was told that room servicing was an extra service that needed to be requested. this policy was never explained to me, and it was annoying to discover it only after encountering the issue.
