The room was surprisingly spacious with a modern bathroom that had a great shower pressure. It made for a refreshing start to each day. I particularly enjoyed the little amenities such as the microwave and refrigerator that made my stay convenient.

The hotel has a great location, making it easy to explore downtown Charleston, but the experience left a lot to be desired. The rooms showed signs of neglect, particularly with cleanliness and maintenance issues. Service was inconsistent; while some staff were friendly, others seemed overwhelmed and less helpful. The breakfast offerings were decent but not well-managed, running out of items before the end time. Overall, it was a disappointing stay that didn’t meet expectations.
